Some inspiration for your visit with these videos from Visit Monmouthshire – our beautiful county has so much to offer and it’s all on your doorstep to explore at Great House Hideaways.SHOPPING
We may be located in a rural area but there are several excellent local shops in Usk itself, including a butcher in the town square, two small supermarkets, a bakery and several antique and artisan shops as well as Morris’ of Usk, our local farm shop & garden centre.
There are excellent Farm Shops near Usk and Raglan. A Country Market selling homemade produce is held in Usk every Thursday morning 10.00 -12.00 and a Farmers Market is held in Usk every first and third Saturday 10.00 – 13.00.
The lovely historic, market towns of Abergavenny, Monmouth and Chepstow are only a short drive away. Larger shopping centres are available in Cwmbran, Newport, Cardiff and Bristol.
